STC Installation Instructions Application Data
For 120, 140, 150, 152 and 170's through 207 (Excluding 177 & 190/195) models built prior to 1980.
Note - all 120, 140, 150 & 152 models will require our side mount system, part number RCS-300-1, regardless of original factory visor installation location
To confirm all other applications:
Sitting in the pilots seat, do the original visors mount to the spar with (2) screws above and to the left of your head? If yes, then order the Side Mount, RCS-300-1 sunvisor system. If you answered no, you need to order RCS-300-2, Center Mount Sunvisor.
All models not originally equipped with factory sunvisors and all 120, 140, 150/152 models will require the installation of (2) rivnuts per side (included with the installation hardware).
If the original visors in your aircraft are mounted on a bar near the center of the windshield, the bar will be removed, rivnuts will be installed to create a new mounting location.
If you own a 1960's Cessna 210 with external wing struts you will need to order the RCS-300-1.
