Cessna 3rd axis lens is a certified replacement lens for any Cessna 3rd axis visor system. The Pilot & Co-pilot side lens part number is the same, simply flip the lens over to fit the other side with same hole pattern.
Material is an optical quality, non-polarized, cast acrylic material which blocks 99.9% UV rays A&B.
The lens measures 13" wide x 9.964" high. It features a double step notch at the upper outboard corners to prevent the lens from hitting the mounting block when full diagonal rotation is utilized.
How do you know if you have Rosen factory standard or 3rd axis modified blocks?
- The 3rd axis blocks (the corner hinge that connects the lens to the arm) will allow you to rotate your visors upward to stow, rotate to the side window, the visor will slide on the arm, plus rotate downward towards your lap for more window coverage.
- Standard blocks will allow you to do all of these movements, except rotate downward towards your lap.
