For replacement of Cessna factory side mounted visors or aircraft without visors produced prior to 1980.
Does not fit 190/195. For the 177, see RCS-300-5 system for the Cardinal.
If you need a replacement lens for your system please reference:
RCS-200-1 (R1180301-001) Cessna Standard Replacement Lens
Installation: The time is approximately 15-30 minutes for most installations (except for 150/152 models). Installs in original factory mount location with 2 screws per side. Our kit comes complete with all mounting hardware, installation instructions and STC.
Cessna 150 & 152 models: All Cessna 150/152 models that were originally equipped with factory visors used the early “center mount” configuration. Visors are mounted on a bar located in the overhead center console. In this configuration, the Rosen visor does not install on the original bar mount. The factory bar mount is removed and rivnuts are installed outboard on the bottom of spar to create new side mounting locations.
Many 150/152s were delivered without factory visors. Again, for these models, rivnuts are used to create side mounting locations. In either case, the correct Rosen part number to order is RCS-300-1 (R1180001-0)
Approximate lens size: 12” x 10”
This is a standard 2 axis system. If you would like to upgrade to 3rd axis blocks, add the 3rd Axis Mod Kit part number R1020000 (see accessories page to view) and 3rd axis lenses (R1180301-002) optional.
The standard 2 axis visor system will move/adjust in directions similar to a car visor. It will rotate upward to stow, swing to the side window, and slide out on the arm. The 3rd axis gives you one additional pivot axis in a downward arc towards your lap. This is useful when more window coverage from the sun is required, and also needed in float planes to move the visors around the V brace.
Note: Does not fit models 160, 162, 165, 187, 188, 190, 195. We do not have a replacement visor system for these models. For the 177, see RCS-300-5 system for the Cardinal.
You can place an order at the link above, or feel free to call or email Rosen's sales team at 800-284-7677 or [email protected] Office hours Monday through Friday 7am-4pm Pacific Time Zone. We are located in Eugene, Oregon USA
