The standard 2 axis visor system will move/adjust in directions similar to a car visor. It will rotate upward to stow, swing to the side window, and slide out on the arm.
The 3rd axis gives you one additional pivot axis in a downward arc towards your lap. This is useful when more window coverage from the sun is needed.
